Night Trek to Prabalmachi

DarkGreen Adventures invites you for a short and sweet night trek to Prabalmachi, suitable for summer. It is located between Matheran and Panvel at an elevation of 1900 feet.

Level: Easy (1.5 hours of ascent)

Saturday

23:00 - Meet at Panvel railway station 

00:00 - Reach base village. We will have an introduction and then start the night trek to ‘Prabalmachi’. 

Sunday

02:00 - Reach Prabalmachi and relax. We will spend the night playing games like Mafia, Dum charades or hearing interesting stories. Though not compulsory, we may not sleep the whole night.

08:00 - We will have breakfast after the photography session at the plateau.

08:30 - Start descend to base village

09:30 - Reach base village, back to Panvel by 10:30 tentatively 

Inclusions:

 - Transportation from Panvel to Panvel.

 - Breakfast and refreshments

 - Entry charges at Prabalmachi

 - Expertise and Guide Charges

Exclusions:

 - Train tickets till Panvel

 - Any tented accommodation

 - Any other charges not mentioned above

Things to carry:

 - 2-liter water (preferably in personal reusable bottles)

 - A torch (other than mobile)

 - Good trekking shoes or sports shoes

 - Your own blanket/mat etc. (if you want to lie down)

 - Mosquito repellent cream

 - A double-strap bag. Sling bag not allowed in the trek

 - We appreciate people carrying healthy foods like fruits, dry fruits, energy bar,s etc.
